Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

I need to add a text to each page of a file. While having the "Edit PDF" bar up, each page will default back down to a 12pt font size when I've already set it to a 48pt. How can I keep each page at a 48pt within a single pdf file??

You can specify the font and font size in the preferences:

Change default font for fallback in PDF editing and Add Text

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately that's exactly what I thought but I don't have the option. Any clue why or what I should do from here?
