Lately my default printing settings have disappeared and I've tried every combination of print settings and it won;t print a simple a4 pdf, it stretches it across 2 pages cutting of certain aspects and I also can't print to my label printer after trying every possible combination.

Hi amyb91110616

I am sorry for late response.

Resetting preference might get back the desired print settings in Acrobat. Please visit this link which explains "how to reset preferences in Acrobat": How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Let me know if it worked.

Thanks!

Hi amyb91110616 ,

Could you please let us know the dot version of Acrobat installed on your computer?

What operating system installed on your computer?

Is this happening in Acrobat only or with other applications as well like MS Word/Notepad?

Try to print from other application and check if it still prints in the same manner.

Also, try to perform the steps given here: Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

Let us know about the results.

Thank You,

Shivam

Hi Shivam,

I have the 9.5 5 Acrobat installed, I'm on a Mac with OS X El Capitan- 10.11.6 installed

It only happens with PDF's from acrobat. If I try to ripen from anything else then the default print settings are there for me to print A4 or to change it to what ever size I like. When printing from a pdf it does't matter what size or combination of settings i change it to it still doesn't print correctly.

I've looked through the troubleshooting steps and none of them work or don't apply.

Thanks, Amy
