I deleted my software instead of deactivating the Acrobat Standard XI from my computer
I downloaded and tried to reinstall Acrobat XI (stand alone product) but now Adobe does not recognize my serial number.
Has anyone had this dump problem??

failing to deactivate could lead to an excess activation count error, but not a serial number problem.
so, you must use the correct number, Find your serial number and you must use the correct installation file (eg, standard, not pro).

I did sign in to my Adobe Digital ID and printed out the Serial Number for Adobe Standard XI.
This serial number does not activate my purchased product.

what's 'adobe digital id'?
if you were checking your serial number with adobe, you would log into your account, Adobe ID
and what do you see after entering your serial number?

after logging in the serial number, I get a comment that my number is not recognized and am told to reenter the number again.

your serial number consists of 6 groups of 4 numbers (no letters).
if you think you're entering it correctly (AND you're using the correct installation file), adobe support may be able to help you.
contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and ask if they can confirm your serial number.

i have already contacted them during this forum.
Adobe has escalated this case to senior level and will get back to me in 48-72 hours.
