I wrote a script to do that a while ago: Page Splitter Redux

What version of Acrobat are you using? Acrobat allows you to to extract a range of pages to create a new document. In Acrobat 11 you'd select: Tools > Pages > Extract

and Acrobat DC: Tools > Organize Pages > Select pages and click Extract button

I have Acrobat DC.  The Tools > Organize Pages > Select pages and Extract looks like it is going to work.  I just need to play with it a little.  Thanks!

In the "Organize Pages" tool, one option is "Split". It split a 4-page pdfs into 2 pdfs, pgs 1&2 in one file, and pges 3 and 4 in another.  No option to select pages was given.
