Is there a way to add pages to the pdf without making it a new binder?

I'm interested in using the "send for comments" or another collaborate function of acrobate as an approval workflow.  If one of the members has additional content to add to the file, is there a way to "combine files"  without it becoming a new binder? (the new binder isn't what is already shared with everyone)
