PDFMaker Excel Plug In Failing to Load

I am having an issue with PDFMaker. It bombed one time in Excel and now every time I load excel the Adobe tab is not there in ther ribbon. I can go to File -> Options -> Add Ins -> COM Add Ins and enable it, but when I exit Excel and come back, it is not loaded. The Adobe tab is loading fine for Word. This is using Office 2016 Pro + Adobe Acrobat DC (15.016.20041). I've tried repairing both MS Office and Adobe, neither has resolved this. How can I get the Add In to auto-load in Excel again?

Hi Brian

Can you please check if LoadBehavior value is 3 here as well?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin

Hi Brian

Go to Start > Type Run.

In the Run window, type regedit.

Go to below key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin

Please change the Loadbehavior key value to 3. (decimal)

The add-in should stay now.

Thanks

Tanvi

If I am understanding you correct, it seems that it is already 3. Correct? I haven't changed anything.

Hi Brian,

Could you please check if you have the Excel addin at the given location?

Go to C>Program Files(x86)>Adobe>Acrobat DC>PDFMaker>Office and find PDFMExcel.dll .

Thanks!
