"One or more pages in use" when trying to delete page in Acrobat X

I have an issue where after I save a PDF document, if I try to delete a page I get an error that says "one or more pages in use." So far I've tried to repair, reinstall, and upgrade to Acrobat version 10.1.16 and I keep getting this error. I've also set "View documents in PDF/A mode" to never and turned off enhanced security as these are some of the solutions I have seen. Unfortunately a workaround is not an option and I cannot upgrade to XI. So I am pretty much stuck with getting rid of this error completely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any 3rd party plug-ins installed in Acrobat? This error is usually caused by a plug-in that "acquires" a page, and then does not "release" it afterwards.

GoFileRoom is the only plug-in. It was a file that came from there.

In that case, get in touch with the makers of that plug-in. I am pretty confident that they are the only ones who can fix this.
