Hi NelsonNg ,

Please Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Would like to know is this happening with all the documents or with certain files .

Please share the screenshot as well for this issue.

Just go to Edit in Adobe

Preferences

Security(enhanced)

Uncheck Enable protected mode at startup(preview) and Run in App container.

Close Adobe and recheck if this remains unchecked.

This resolved the issue for me

Hi YatharthS,

Problem solved after I took the following files out from the Preference folder :-

com.adobe.acrobat.pdfviewer
com.adobe.CSXS.3

com.adobe.CSXS.4
com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings

I couldn't find the exact same name from the folder so I try to remove all "com.adobe.xxxxxxxxx".

So, izit ok for me to remove the files out just like that and nothing will warn me in the future?

Regards,

Nelson

I have tried all the suggested procedures with no luck. I've uninstalled Adobe Acrobat DC (2015) and deleted all the folders that I can find relating to the program and its installation including folders in my user account, etc.

Nothing seems to be working and I continue to get the same error. This is one of the functions that I use on a regular basis and was wondering whether there's a solution to this problem. Surely there is a patch of some for this.

I'm running Windows 8 - Adobe Acrobat DC

Cheers,

Michae
