Correct answer Bill12

I assume the S/N was removed (never post them in a public forum). Anyway, I assume you are installing the perpetual license version (full paid version). Where did the S/N come from? Currently, most folks are getting a number that must be submitted to obtain the S/N. The number is not the S/N, but a code to retrieve the S/N. It is also possible that the installation was for an upgrade. In that case, the S/N being requested may have been for the prior version that you are upgrading from. For the upgrade you will be asked for the S/N on the prior and new versions.
