When I create a new pdf it automatically opens the new document in pdf architect. Is there a way of turning this off?

When I create a new pdf it automatically opens the new document in pdf architect. Is there a way of turning this off?

Turning what off? Opening it entirely, or opening it using this application? Also, how are you creating the files, exactly? Do you have Adobe Acrobat? If so, which version? And which OS?
