When marking up PDF for accessibility, part of images disappear when tagged. Help!

My graphic designer creates PDF documents in InDesign and sends them to me as a PDF for Accessibility markup. When I try to tag the company logo (which is an .eps file in InDesign), half of the image disappears leaving it illegible. I have ran into this with other images as well... Is there a way around this? What is going wrong?

I believe that the problem is that (ironically) Adobe InDesign (or Adobe LiveCycle PDFs) are not fully editable in Adobe Acrobat.

Either get the graphic designer to use Acrobat or else have that person do the accessibility work within InDesign.

Parts of the image may be hiding behind other page elements. I would try re-arranging the order in the Contents pane - that is, move the hidden elements below the hiding elements. This is known as the Z-order problem (z order problem - YouTube).
