Why does Acrobat Pro DC hang up after Create starts to open the Word source file?

Could you please try with another Word file to check if you are able to Create pdf?

Try to reboot the Computer and then Create pdf.

I have tried that. It created a smaller file satisfactorily. After discussion with a colleague I suspect the file is too big for my laptop to cope with. My solution will be to go to a specialist agency to carry out the job. I am happy to close this enquiry.

Hi, Shivam

I am using Create PDF. I choose the Word file to convert, and the PDF preset to PDF/X-1a:2001 for my print bureau. When I press Create a long progress bar appears, the cursor becomes a wristwatch symbol ... and it hangs up. I have tried several times including waiting an hour to see if something happens. It does not.

I am using Windows 10 on a laptop.
