when filling out existing forms in acrobat how do you alter font, text size if needed?

when filling out a blank pdf form eg duties form for conveyancing, how can i change the font, size of text if needed

Do you have Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader? With the latter you can only do it if the author of the form set the fields as having Rich Text Formatting.
