When I create a pdf of a powerpoint on a Mac, the PDF is larger than the original. When I try to the reduce the file size, I get an error message

Hi help77,

What is the error message that you get when you try to reduce the PDF file size? And, are you using PDF Optimizer in Acrobat, or using the Save As Other > Reduced Size PDF option?

Sara - the message reads “an error was encountered while processing images”. This occurs when trying either the Optimizer command or Reduced Size PDF option. I should note that this does NOT happen when I use an older version of Acrobat on an my PC Windows.
