Adobe Sign maximun file size 8 Mb

Community Beginner ,
Feb 01, 2024 Feb 01, 2024

This week I noticed that the maximum file size for Adobe Sign documents is 8 Mb instead of 10 Mb.

Is this a new policy? On the Acrobat website, the file size is 10 Mb (Last updated Jan 22, 2024).

Hi Rene35188300e15y,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please share more information on how you noticed this change in file size? Did you try sending any file with a larger size than 8 Mb?

It would be helpful if you could share more details with us.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

Every week I send some documents for signature. Some of them I have to optimize so that their size is less than 10 Mb. And this week when I try to sign documents with a size between 8 and 9 mb I get the message in Acrobat to reduce the file size (See attached file Adobe File size error.jpg).

I'm also getting the 8MB error message. Is there any update on this issue?

I had this confirmed by a customer rep the other day. Really frustrating.

I have a document that is 7.4MB and I can't send it for a signature....

You can reduce the file in Acrobat.  Save as...

Yes, but this happens after reducing the file size. For example, original file 18 Mb, reduce file size 8.75 mb. When trying to sing message to reduce the file size appers.

Hi Rene35188300e15y,

Sorry about the delay in response.

Could you please share the screen recording of the complete workflow? We will share it with the team for further investigation.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I tried to send a file and it gave me a 9MB limit. I'm super unhappy. I need 10.  That MB really makes a huge difference in quality of what I can scan and email for signature.
