Adobe sign workflow

We want to integrate Adobe Sign into our Wordpress website but have not found a way to make Adobe Sign work for us. Our workflow:

 

  1. Customer requests to lease equipment and pre-fills data to be included in the agreement (either directly in the PDF or within a that fills the PDF)
  2. Internal staff verifies info submitted and adds the equipment and price to the document
  3. The pdf is sent out for signatures from all parties.

 

We can do this with DocuSign but not Adobe....?   Has Adobe completely missed the multi-step process of filling a form just to prepare it for signatures?  Did I miss something?  How do we integrate this into our WordPress website?

I see 30+ views and no responses.  This suggests: 

 

  1. It can't be done and nobody wants to say it,
  2. It can be done, but Adobe is too lazy to monitor and respond,
  3. Adobe isn't engaged with its users and community.  Suggests they don't care,
  4. Adobe and its user community aren't engaged and collaborative,
  5. The support community is soo worn out because of a lack of documentation or incorrect or failed use-cases.

 

All in all, it appears to be poor leadership and not managing customer expectations.  Businesses need to understand how to accomplish goals and use your products.  We have $$$$ to spend but Adobe isn't helping itself by ignoring and not responding to questions.  Even if they said something like "we can't do this right now, but it's on our roadmap" would be an acceptable response to come back and review the product. But a no response says a lot about a company; it says "we don't care about you or our product" so go elsewhere and never come back. 


More concerning is that it appears there is very little response to any questions and concerns and compliance to governing rules by Adobe.

A company that ignores customers is not a company I would want to fully invest my company with.  This sounds like nothing but problems.  Too bad Adobe leadership has made this situation.

    Here are some real life example use-cases:

     

    Example #1 - New Hire Employement Agreement

    1) An applicant needs to enter their information
    2) HR might need add the salary and optional neogoiated compensation
    3) The hiring manager need to review
    4) HR & Hiring manager sign
    5) Back to applicant for their signature.

    Example #2 - Lease/Rental Agreement for large equipment
    1) Applicant prefills form
    2) Leasing Team add equipment, serial number, and pricing informaton
    3) Analyst researches company and approves lease
    4) Manager Signs
    5) Back to company/applicant for finial signature

    We also would like customer facing items presented to them on our website (WordPress) when logged in.  Would we pass along some sort of user-id to Adobe to keep the contracts assigned with a signed in user?

    Alternate option would be to integrate info from our CRM (ONTRAPORT) to Adobe to prerefill the agreement.  We still would have tie the customer's specific contract back to 

    Could we have the signed and complete agreement imported back into our CRM with the customer name and date in the name?

    I don't see much of anything from Adobe how to accomplish much of this.

    I am not too much of an expert, but Adobe Sign includes its own web forms designer where you can define a form, the fields for data entry or signing, and then who each field is assigned to. The users can be signers or form fillers or approvers, among other roles. The form address can be added to your web site. For more advanced integrations, the REST API is included (in the Enterprise plan).

      Small companies need more integration options now than ever.  I think Adobe is out of tune with the needs of SMBs.  Very simple workflows are hard to obtain.  Even worse is Adobe's silence on everything in these forums.
