Question

Can users sign documents from my app without Adobe account?

I tried DocuSign and seems like users don't need DocuSign account to sign docs and return to my app, but with Adobe Sign seems like I have to make all users sign up first for Adobe accounts with is inconvenient to say the least.

Can this be avoided?

I am not talking about sending to emails, i am talking about signing from my app and I don't want any logins taking place.

If I understood correctly Oath2 still means user has to grant rights to some external app via login screen. In case of a web app, who would this be and can this be avoided completely?

thanks

Hi Alex,

Yes, if you use the oAuth the end user will need to authenticate and for that they will need an Adobe Sign account, In oAuth process, there is no way to skip that step. Instead you can use the Integration key to integration Adobe Sign with an Application. You can create one from Account > Personal preferences > Access tokens > Click on + sign to create a new one.

Hope that helps.

Hi Alex,

You do not need an Adobe Sign account to sign any document. Adobe Sign account is required to manage the signed documents OR to send new documents. You can try sending document to a test email that you own (and which doesnt have an Adobe Sign account) and see the behavior for yourself.

Hope this helps!
