Hi there

I'm a web developer and the site i work on uses Adobe Sign via the Adobe Sign API.  We have made no updates to our site recently but since this morning we are getting the following error messages when we go to any page in our website that talks to Adobe Sign:

The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

or

Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS with authority 'secure.echosign.com'.The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Anyone got an idea of why this might have just started happening?

Thanks

Craig

Greetings!

Based on the error, it sounds like you have TLS 1.0 or 1.1 enabled, and that protocol was turned off for Adobe Sign yesterday.

I would recommend reviewing the End of Life article for TLS support, and reviewing your systems to enable TLS 1.2 for your services:

Adobe Sign: End of Life for TLS1.0 and 1.1 support

Hi Abcda,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I have checked the email address that you used to log in to forums.

I see that you are using the Adobe Sign trial account.

As you need to test the Adobe Sign integration, please register for the free developer edition of Adobe Sign.

You can register for the Developer account from here Create Developer Account, APIs for custom applications | Adobe Sign

Please make sure that while registering you use an email address that is not registered for any other Adobe Sign account.

If you experience any issue with the Developer account, you may contact the Adobe Sign pre-sales team.

They will be able to provide you with the pre-technical assistance.

You may refer this link Adobe Sign plans for individuals and businesses | Adobe Document Cloud to contact them.

In Adobe Sign integration feature is only available with the enterprise level account.

If you are already subscribed to Adobe Sign, please check the account type.

Refer to this help document for integration guides Integration reference guides | Adobe Sign

Hope the information helps.

Let us know if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Just curious - how and when was this communicated to customers.

Thanks,

This has been communicated in the monthly Technical Notifications email and web page since September 2016:

Adobe Sign Technical Notification

Additionally, direct communications were sent to accounts shown to be using TLS 1.0/1.1, the most recent being in December 2017, February 2018, and April 2018.
