Document in "Will be sent for signature to" status

I'm the second person to sign a document. I sent it out for signature and the other person says they signed it. When I check the history on the document, it says: "Will be sent for signature to Chad Stewart (my email)"

It's been in this state for a day or so. How long until I actually receive a request to sign it? Is there a way to log-in and sign it immediately?

I ask him to sign in and sign it again and he says that it doesn't let him even see it anymore.
