When downloading the document that you sent for e-signatures, is there a way to also save the message that went along with it? I'd like a complete record of the message and document that was sent.

The message is only meant for the recipient. There is no option to download the message as a record.

But why? This makes no sense. If I'm a lawyer, and I'm sending a document for e-signature to my client with a cover note stating certain critical items, and that client then comes back and complains that I didn't tell them about those critical items, why wouldn't a $300/year application save that message into a printable and shareable format?

Also, if you are adding the information to the email, it will be available there.
