Drag and Drop Files Not Working

The Drag and Drop Files feature has never worked for me using the "new experience" no matter the browser type. Is there a solution to fixing that before taking away the ability to revert back to the classic version?  Additionally, it would be helpful features to allow edits to the "recipent" fields after previewing fields. Is that in the works for improvements?

So, this "new experience" goes live, mandatory for everyone, in what, six weeks, and basic stuff like Drag and Drop does not work?
