Question

electronic signature issue

A month or so ago Adobe stopped  allowing me to get a signature from another party from the pdf I had opened.  I can only add my signature.  As a work around I needed to go into my Adobe account and upload the document to get the signature function to work.

Can anyone shed light on this please it is incredibly frustrating also that there is no email for support.

Hi Sue32056234hi13,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

Please let us know how you used to send documents to get a signature from the other party. Are you saying that you cannot send documents from a desktop application and need to sign in to the Acrobat web account as a workaround?

If so, please let us know what happens when you use the request signature feature in Acrobat. Do you get the error message? It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot or a small video showing what happens.

In the meantime, refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/45BYfla. Check if that helps.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi I'm back to this issue finally.  and am uploading my snips to illustrate.  basically I open my pdf in need of getting a signature and adobe only gives me the option of my own signature.  It used to allow me to invite others for their signatures.  I do not like change especially when it is not for the betterment of processes!

I pay my subscription every month and now cannot utilise the product without logging in to the adobe website.

hopefully you can tell me what has changed so i can get what i used to have

regards

Sue
