How can I prevent the pop up every time I place a checkmark?

I use the checkmark option in Adobe often from the E-Sign tools

Every time I place a checkmark, more options appear in this black box above where I put the checkmark (see below for screenshot). How do I prevent this from appearing after placing and only appear when I click on the tickmark? I don't need it to pop up by default and it just blocks my view every time I place a checkmark.
