How Do I Start With the Legacy / Classic Page?

The new "Modern" e signature interface removes several functions that I need for me workflow, the most important of which are Multiple File Support and being able to cc additional people on the agreement that aren't the signers. 

 

Is there a way to start with the Legacy interface?

We are a software developer who have integrated with Adobe Sign and recommended it to our clients. When our clients subscribed to Adobe Sign, they had access to the ā€œclassicā€ interface which worked well. Now business subscribers are being denied access to the classic interface in favour of an inferior "Modern" interface unless they upgrade their accounts to an Enterprise account which they donā€™t need. If they donā€™t upgrade their accounts, the new "Modern" interface is much more tedious and inefficient to use. Adobe is removing the functionality for which users subscribed, and forcing them to upgrade to keep things working efficiently. Assuming an Enterprise account costs more, IMHO that's dishonest and shameful extortion. I know our clients are very unhappy and are asking for another solution. We are forced to change our software to work with another competing e-signing solution provider. We have already begun that work, and once complete we will be recommending our clients subscribe to a different e-signing solution, resulting in the loss of many subscribers for Adobe. I think this scheme to increase sales will backfire. (After weeks of back and forth, Adobe Customer Care has confirmed that business account users who want to use the classic interface must upgrade to the Enterprise account.)

Completely agree with complaints about what users subscribed to originally. I need the formulas for fields that auto calculate. This was a rude awakening when I went to send a contract to a customer and was forced into using the "new experience". When I got to the bottom of my form, after filling out ALL THE OTHER STUFF above, where the calculations were were just blank fields... it just removed those fields and didn't warn me at all that it would happen. This is unacceptable!!!! FIX IT ADOBE.... Not cool. Not what we originally were paying for.

Upon further exploration there is a way to use the Legacy Features... but you have to look pretty hard for it on the web interface. When you're in the document, under the esign tab, scroll down to the very bottom of the left sidebar and it's there where you can find a link to "use legacy features". 

 

Bad form adobe...

Ok.... so after clicking on the use "Legacy Tools" option then it actually removes all my previous fields that had been calculation fields.... Now everytime I use my form I'm going to have to add in the calculation fields back adding back in all the formulas that used to be there.... Adobe... this sucks. So that link to use Legacy Tools is basically effing useless now. 

 

Time to move to DocuSign I guess.

This is what worked for me:

1) log in to acrobat (acrobat.adobe.com)
2) click on the very Top Right corner profile icon to get a dropdown.
3) on the dropdown click on settings
4) this should open up a popover settings menu
5) There is a heading "E-signing settings"
UNCHECK the box that says "Request e-signatures [] Use the latest version of Request e-signatures

That's what worked for me.  I'm back to the old reliable interface that I have been using for years.
For reference I have Creative Cloud / Document Cloud
Hope this helps.

Thank you for this. I was stressing so badly trying to figure out why my form calculations were disabled. The worst thing of all is these are new forms that I just started using a few weeks ago that took me a long time to learn how to get them right where I wanted them. I sure hope Adobe isn't going to try and upcharge us for calculated fields and such.
