How to change email and signing language for recipient in Acrobat Sign?

Hello,

on Adobe Sign I can't find the "change language" setting.

When I send a document to sign our customers receive it in English and not in Italian.

How could I fix this?

Thanks.

Hello,

There are 2 ways you can control the signing language. At the User level and the Account level.

  • Under Account Settings, the Admin can choose the Account Languages and then change "Signing Language" from the drop down choices.
  • As an individual user, under Personal Preferences you can also change the Signing Language

Here is the Adobe Sign help link shttps://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/multilanguage-sending-signing.html

Hi Brtracker!

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.

As you are using the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, it includes the Adobe Sign individual service plan. It does not have the feature to change the recipient's language.

The option to change the recipient's language is only available with Adobe Sign business and enterprise service plans.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hello,

For me too.

Emails sent are in English instead of being in French:

Signature requested on "test11h13"au lieu de Signature requise pour "test11h13"

Franck VITALIS requests your signature on  test11h13,  Review and sign.

How to solve the problem ?

Thank you in advance.

HI,

I have the same problem. I got in touch through the Chat support in Franch. I'm the free trial of adobe sign for 7 days. I was referred to the following instructions:

Do the following:

  1. In the Signers field, add recipient email addresses in the order you want the document to be signed.
  2. Change the default text in the Subject & Message area as appropriate.
Optional: If you want to add more people just for information, use the Add CC button to add their email addresses to the CC list.
  3. If you want to add more documents, click Add Files and then browse and select the documents. (If you don't want to use the Advanced Options, skip the next optional step.)
  4. (Optional) Click More Options, if you want to specify advanced options, such as signer authentication, reminders, and more.
    • By default, the Complete in Order setting is turned on. The numbers by the email addresses reflect the participation order. If you do not want to follow any particular order for signing, toggle the switch to Complete In Any Order.
(Optional) Click Add Me, if you want to be included as a signer of the document.
    • Specify authentication type like Email, Password, Social Identity, Knowledge Based Authentication, or Phone.
    • Password Protect the PDF file.
    • Set a Completion Deadline.
    • Set Reminder for the recipients to take action.
    • Specify the Recipient's Language in the email sent

Question: Why is it that I don't have the same options in my trial version?

Option menu in the instructions:

Annotation 2020-04-13 125438.png

MY OPTION MENU DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME OPTIONS COMPARED WITH INSTRUCTION.

Thank you Shannon!

After further research, these settings are not available with the individual accounts, only with the business or enterprise accounts. I finally suscribe to Acrobat Pro DC, which includes Adobe Sign. I cannot find the multilanguage settings but I'm not sure why, my version is french and the receipient Email requesting the signature is also French. Before with the trial free version, I had the French version and the Email was send in English.

Have a great day!

Indeed, you're both right. Actually, team version of acrobad DC includes... individual adobe sign accounts ... No language settings are available here : you have to subscribe to adobe sign for small business and forget about acrobat DC to be able to select language..

Adobe sign acts strange with my account, sometimes mail is sent in French, as I need, but sometimes in english. Depending on... which recipient I send the doc to.. Would you have a clue on what is going on and how to handle this ?

Thanks !

this is the real software screen. As you can see there is no option to change the language.

Some of the recipients get the document with the interface in portugueses while others get it in english.

As far as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is concerned:

You are not able to set languages for the recipients. It's an intended fault with die Sign component in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Adobe doesn't tell you beforehand on the comparison sheets. You need to subscribe to another different product.... the language choices are random otherwise, sometimes it turns out in the correct language, sometimes it remains english. Bad....

Bonjour
