Please let us know if you are still getting the error message when trying to send the document for signature.
If you use the desktop application, send the document using an Acrobat Online account. Sign in here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and go to E-sign > Request Signatures. Upload the document and check if you can send the document.
Also, check if the issue occurs when using a particular document.
