Good Morning.
I can't overwrite a pdf after firm with digital certificate. Can anyone tell me why this error is occurring and how to prevent?
Regards.
Hi Maryelism,
As you mentioned above, you are not able to make the changes to the PDF once you add the signature to PDF.
It seems that the documents get locked once you add the digital signature to it.
Please refer the steps mentioned in this help document: Edit a signed PDF | FAQ
Check if this helps you in this.

Hi, thanks for answer.
The problem is when I am signing. After to sign with a certificate, I have to save the file and the adobe acrobat (I don´t why) don't let me save the file with the same name (overwrite).
In some moments work fine and then not function. The users have to save the file pdf signed with other name.
This is hapend with acrobat 9 and 10. In windows 7 and 10.

Hi Maryelism,
Sorry for the delay in response.
When you add the signature to the PDF, it asks you to save the new file with signature. It is an as designed behavior.
If you wish to save the file with the same name, you can select the file name from the list in the "Save as" window.
It will give you a pop-up message "Replace the existing file". You can click OK to replace the file with the current one and save it.
Let us know if you have any questions.
