I use Adobe E-Sign for applications. I'm in the insurance world. The issue is that I need to do the "Preview & Add Signature Fields" but then Adobe E adds a line to my entire application so I'm now modifying 20 pages (edit so they can't undo it) or delete it. It's awful. Is there a way I can only add my signature, initals or text lines withouut choosing that option? If I say "reset" it removes everything and now the application is blank. I don't want customers signing blank documents. That's not okay.

 

I've tried the classic and new version, both drive me nuts. Help 🙂

So these types of insurance forms are what causes the Adobe format to go nuts. It will fill in a box, line for every item on this form. I do need to add some boxes, lines, dates and signature boxes on forms but it seems like it's all or nothing.

If you are still having trouble with the form, please make sure you use the right steps to complete and sign it. 

Can you share how you are adding the information to the document and trying to sign it? It appears that you filled out the form in Acrobat and then used the Acrobat Sign feature to sign the document. Do you need to send this document for signature after filing it? Is the form available online, or are you scanning it? 

Please share the screen recording of how you open the document and fill it.
