"Contact administrator" error when trying to request signatures

Hi,

I'm trying to send out a PDF for signing but I am getting to 72% in the app when I click to specify where to sign. When I try via the https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/?dropinId=verb-sendforsignature link I get "Contact administrator".

Our administrator is on holdiay (and is no more of an expert on this than I am, so I don't expect will be masses of help when she returns).

Any idea what is going on/is it something I can fix? I was successfull in sending out for sigs a few weeks ago.

Thanks,

J

Check out this thread - Solved: Send for Signatures hangs at 72% (still) - Adobe Support Community - 11943472

Hope it works for you.

No sadly not (but thanks for the help). Both the "right answers" on that thread centre on issues with the local software not talking to Adobe properly (the first is about linking the software and the second about synching across devices). The guidance given by the Adobe employee in that thread (to try doing it via the Adobe site first) is what I followed, and what failed, as mentioned in my first post.

When I try to use https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/

The intro says "Your Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription includes all PDF tools and premium e-signing tools."

But as soon as I click "Request e-signatures" I get:

"Contact your administrator

Please contact your administrator to access this feature."

My administrator is back tomorrow but whether she will have any idea where to start or not I do not know. She's not an IT adminstrator. But I have an employment contract to send out to someone and it's already late, so I am trying to not just leave it until tomorrow to find my colleague has no more of an idea than I do.

Thanks for the suggestion.
