Removing signers from auto-complete in adobe acrobat DC

New Here ,
Sep 01, 2020 Sep 01, 2020

I'm looking for the option to edit the emails that appear in auto-complete as soon as I start requesting singnatures from other signers. There's a few email adresses in there that I need to get rid off that have been used by accident or picked up wrongfully from another source. I've tried running through the menu's in acrobat preferences and online in my cloud account settings but no luck so far.

Anyone got a clue?

Thanks in advance

I have had no luck as well and it seems that it isn't an option right now. This is something that Adobe really needs to work on. Sometimes cancelling the document and starting over causes severe delays.

Hi @Jellehoekstra and hrmanager@liberty ,

Sorry to see that this has gone unanswered for you for so long. Hopefully you found the answer, but just in case you haven't. The capability does exist on the sign compose page, but it may be a little hidden. When you are typing an email and a suggestion appears that you want to remove, you can click the 'x' that is to the right of the suggestion:

 after the x is clicked:

One caveat is that your browser may attempt to provide suggestions as well, which is beyond our control.

Anyway, apologies again for the very late response. I hope this helps.

Regards,

-Steve

Good afternoon,

I've done this as well, but it doesn't fix the issue. I thought it would but it seems as though once th email is put in there once, and sent, there isn't a way to remove it. My adobe is now picking up emails from my Outlook as well that havn't even been used in Adobe. If anyone comes up with a solution, please let me know.

Thanks,

Shar

Have you tried disabling the autofill in your browser?

Hi Sharlisa31317870sieb,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, the emails from Outlook which are never used before appear in the suggestion. Is that correct?

If yes, this seems to be weird behavior. Would you mind sharing the screen recording of your workflow to send the document for signature? Please ensure that the email address was never used before by checking the email address via the Privacy option under the Account  > Account Settings on the Acrobat Sign account. Enter the email address you think you have never used in the search bar.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
