Turning off Auto Field Detect on Adobe Sign

Hi,

I'm working on v23.6 and since I've upgraded Adobe has been auto detecting fields on my forms and I can't seem to stop this from happening.  I mainly use for Adobe Sign and on the old version I used to click the box and Adobe would automatically fill it with a signature box.  As you can see from the pic, this isnt happening now.

I saw another post advising Preferences, Forms, and toggling the Auto detect form fields but his hasn't worked.

Any suggestions?

Hi Empowerer,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Please let us know if this happens with all the documents or with the one on which the fields have already been added.

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording to better understand the issue. We will get this checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hello,

Auto field detection is interferring with documents that I've prepared to send for esignatures.  The field detector overlays information I've already inputted on a form and either I have to try to delete the or send out hoping that the information I inputted is still there when the document is signed.  Also, when auto field detection detects several fields, it becomes a cumbersome task to remove the fields that were auto detected.  Is there anyway to disable this feature?  I'm spending too much time reformatting documents before and after signature.  Thank you.

I am having the same problem.  It seems like every time there is an update, Adobe creates further problems for users.  Why can't you just leave the program just the way it was before the update????  If it ain't broken, DON'T FIX IT.  Adobe Sign is causing such a headache now.  Whomever is doing the programming for Adobe needs to rethink things thru or go back to school!  I am also considering another esign program.  I've had it with Adobe Sign and Adobe Acrobat.  Is there a way to leave things the way they were????   I don't like the auto-place fields as they are interferring with getting documents signed or deleting information.

If  your using Acrobat Pro, you cannot override this feature.  You could if using Adobe Acrobat Sign for Business or Enterprise.

So how do you overide this feature in Business and Enterprise?
