What did you try? How did that fail?

Hi @MikelKlink, thank you for your help,

Below are the things I tried.

  1. I disabled the new Acrobat version to check if the reason was from the update, but it seems not because my saved signature in the previous version, my was gray (inactive), so

  2. I switched back to the new version and click on > menu > Preferences > Signatures > Creation & Appearance Preferances > then in the Appearance block > I selected New > Imported graphics and added my signature as a photo > relaunched the PDF, but still unable either to see the Signatures, nor to add a signature.

  3. I tied Acrobat PDF online > Imported the file > but the file couldn't open and the belo message appeared asking for upgrade, although I have the latest version, I did the upgrade and then it asked me to buy the PDF even though I have the subscribtion.

I've never had this problem before, and I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but it just occured to my mind, could the problem be caused by using the PDF in a different country from where I subscribed?

I have attached few screenshotas for ref.

Thank you very much for your kind help,

Nada

Have you also tried with a different document?

I ask because the "Please wait..." message usually appears when opening PDFs that actually don't use PDF mechanics to present a form but only serve as a container for XFA forms, a completely different file format for describing forms. Which operations a user is permitted to apply to such forms usually is different from those permitted for regular PDF forms.
