I have started getting an issue where a client is signing a document but when I get the document back, the signature is upside down and in the wrong place. Has anyone else had this issue and what can I do to correct it without having to resend to the client?

What kind of signature is it? A signature field? A comment? An image? Something else?
And what application are they using when they apply it?

Adding to what Try67 asked, is this specific to one client where you experience this issue with the signature turning upside down?
Could be an issue with the signature file (if it's an image).
Please share further details, along with the app version number, and a sample agreement file over a private message for better investigation.
Regards,
Souvik.

Which signing software or service did the client use?
Can you share a PDF for analysis, both as it was before signing and as it is after signing? Consider creating a test document with dummy entries.
...
Having had a look at the internals of the PDF shared by @National Gutt38950863bk5c the technical cause of this issue appears to be that at the beginning of the page content stream there is an instruction to flip the direction of the y axis for coordinates in the remaining content.
This flip is considered in the regular content thereafter. Quite likely the flip has been introduced because this regular content has been designed with that flipped coordinate system.
The signature applying code, though, apparently has been designed with the normal coordinate axis direction in mind and does not realize that there is that flip when appending the signature to the content stream.
As a result the signature is displayed upside down and at a wrong location.
I don't know the software mentioned, Adobe webform, nor do I know the exact workload involved, so I cannot tell whether there is a way to circumvent the issue.

Hello @McLain62
I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the trouble.
Could you please provide a screenshot of the image you receive, particularly the upside-down signature? Additionally, is this image part of a web form, as previously mentioned? If the image is in JPEG format, please convert it to PNG format. If you are using a desktop application, such as Adobe Acrobat or the free Acrobat Reader, ensure that you are on the latest version of the software. To do this, check for any pending updates by going to the Help menu and selecting "Check for Updates." Install any available updates and then restart your computer.
If you are using the Acrobat Sign online services, try a different PDF or a web form to see if the signature still appears upside down. A quick screen capture would help us more. If the issue persists, please share a sample PDF, the current app and its version, as well as the installed OS and its version for further investigation.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.

This happens with every signature, even when re-sent. This is obvious some kind of system-wide bug or error. Please fix and respond!

I am having the same issue on multiple doucuments. using a webform. The first set of vendors who filled it out was fine them all of a suddon all of my webforms have every signature and initials upside down and in the wrong places. I went to the webform to see if the locations moved for some reason and they webform is perfectm just anyone who has filled it out in the past month is upside down. This is unacceptable and started happening right when they did the update to the new interface. Please fix!!

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.
Please confirm if the issue occurs only with the Web forms. Does the document sent via Acrobat Sign individually work fine? Please also confirm if it happens with all the Web forms or with particular ones.
We are getting this behavior checked. We will let you know once we have more information on this.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi - I'm having the exact same issue. I created a web form with a signature field that was working fine for months but as of yesterday all signatures are coming back backwards and in the completely wrong place when returned. I just tried filling out the web form myself and it's doing the same thing. How can I resolve this? And how can I fix the completed forms that were affected by this?

We are getting this checked. Please confirm if this happens only with the web forms. Do other forms that you send via Acrobat Sign work fine?
Thanks,
