What happens to archived documents after cancelling a subscription

I operate a small business in which I'm required to maintain an auditable archive of all signed documents for years afterwards. If I use Adobe Sign for some of these then later cancel the subscription, will I continue to have access to my accumulated signed documents?  Ideally, I would be able to download the documents into a separate archive with audit trail intact.

Thanks for any help!

Hi ss14111564 ,

If you cancel your Adobe sign subscription you would be able to access the documents but you would not be able to send the documents and use other functionalities .

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

What will happen to the in flight agreements sent out before the paid account has been cancelled? Will the signers still be able to view and sign the documents?

Please explain what kind of access to the documents I would have in this context. Most importantly, would I be able to download them into my own archive, independent of Adobe, and in that case would the audit trail remain intact.

Please also provide a reference link addressing this question.

Thank you!

Hi ss14111564 ,

Please let us know your email address so that we can have a look at your subscription status .

Once you cancel the subscription , it reverts to the free account .

You can login to the account and navigate to manage page and look for the document under filter by document status label.

You can download the document from there and the audit trail will remain intact .
