Will the date initialed show upon the recipient getting the doc and initialing or do I need to separately add the date field from the next tab over when setting up the doc to get signed?

Hello 5iveMEDIA,

If you include the signature field in document while sending it out for signature, the date is shown by default below the signature line once the signer signs it. If you want to place the date at specific position, I would recommend to use Date field to drag and drop in the document.

Hi 5iveMEDIA,

It all depends, I believe. If you use one-click signing as an option, the electronic signature will include a date and time stamp for when the signature took place. If you use the advanced or biometrical signature settings, the signature block will only give you the date of the electronic signature. If you're just looking for a date when the electronic signature took place, any of the signature features will give you what you want.
