Question

Which Adobe e-Sign Product?

Thank you in advance for your answers. I currently have a license for Acrobat Pro DC and it states that one of the included services is Adobe Sign. It appears that for any single document I can only request up to 10 signatures.

I'm looking to get up to 25 signatures per document.

The Adobe chat support hasn't instilled any confidence for me in what product I need to purchase to meet this need. They don't seem to be able to identify specifically what plan I need to buy, as an individual, that will provide this ability to get up to 25 signatures per document.  For some reason, they keep insisting I need to purchase a multi user license that supports up to 25 users.

Other than the 25 signatures per document, the e-sign abilities in the currently licensed Acrobat pro DC does everything I needed to do. I'm hoping somebody on this forum will be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks again!

Hi Jonathan!

Thank you for reaching out.

As you are looking to get up to 25 signatures per document, it is not possible with your current subscription. Acrobat Pro DC subscription includes Adobe Sign individual service plan. With the individual plans, only 10 recipients can be added per transaction.

The option to add 25 recipients per document is available in the Small business, Business, and Enterprise service plan. Please refer to the following help document to check the transaction limits available per service plan: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/transaction-limits.html

To check the plan and pricing for Adobe Sign service, please refer to this link: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/sign/pricing/plans.html

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thank you for the reply, Meenakshi.

I've no less than two representatives from the Adobe chat support tell me that any one of the products available on the plan and pricing page you referenced will provide the needed 'up to 25 signatures' (Individual or Multi-User).  After purchasing the Acrobat Pro DC with advanced e-sign for a member of my staff today, I found out this is not the case.

The page referencing the transaction limits available is very good, however, it completely fails to specify what I need to purchase to meet my needs, in this case 'the number of signers'.  Additionally, plan and pricing page says nothing about 'Individual' or 'Small Business'.

Unfortunately, even with the "precise" information you have given, I'll still need to make a guess and just purchase the Acrobat Pro DC with e-sign for teams and see if that provides the needed 'up to 25 signatures'.  If it doesn't work, I'm cutting my losses (going on about 1 1/2 hours of my time on what should be a 10-minute question) and signing up with Docusign.

Sorry for the confusion.

Let me help you with more detailed information.

The Acrobat Pro DC with advanced e-sign subscription also includes the Adobe Sign individual plan with some additional e-sign features added to it. The transaction limit will be 10 recipients per document for this plan.

As you have purchased the Acrobat Pro DC with e-sign for teams, that will provide you the 25 recipients per agreement. This plan includes the Adobe Sign small business plan.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
