Hello! I have a very specific problem: need to sign a number of official XML documents using XAdES send by overseas accountant. I've looked through the help and searched online but at this stage I have no idea how to do this. Can I do this somehow with Adobe? I have a certificate created via Adobe and an Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jonathan29615665xeo6,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, you have to sign XML documents. I don't think this can be done using the Adobe Acrobat application or Acrobat Sign.

Could you please confirm how the documents were sent for signature?

Please share more details so we can provide you the correct information.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi. Files were emailed from an accountant in another country, where normally citizens would have a national ID that they could use to approve via a portal. But that doesnt work in our case...so they dont know how to solve either
