Downloaded Adobe Express graphic is blurry

Community Beginner ,
Jul 18, 2022 Jul 18, 2022

I created a flyer in Adobe Express and all my pictures look crisp on the desktop site but when I download it as jpeg or png the image is pixelated. It is a 600x400 image and my images are photos from lightroom. Not sure if that is causing the issue and I need to resize those images or what? Just not sure why it is crisp and looks great in the desktop app and crappy once downloaded.

I forgot to mention, please make sure to re-adjust or resize based on your needs or preferences after you've confirmed that the photos are no longer blurry.

I was speaking with an Adobe tech person, because I had this issue of downloading from within Adobe Express into a PDF, and some of my pictures were blurry. After testing her resolution herself she told me to re-upload the photos from within PhotoShop to a separate directory saving them as JPEG files. Then upload them to Adobe Express as the newly saved JPEG. Then increase or resize the file(s) as 4500×8000 or tte maximum. I did this one file at a time to make sure it worked and now each of my b

A couple of things you could try:

- Download as PDF if that's an option

- Resize the page 2x or higher, then download (note: resize is premium functionality only available to paid users)

Spent 9 hours creating the perfect logo and went to download it to find the same issues everyone on this thread is experiencing. I've tried every step in this thread and I'm still having issues. I'd really hate to have to hire someone to recreate my logo so I can actually use it given I've put so much time and I'm already a premium member.

I have the same problem - very blurry and amateurish looking graphic once downloaded. I will try the work arounds but would be nice to not have to make extra work. May I ask if this will be fixed in the near future please? Many thanks

I don't understand what is happening with Adobe express? When I download my images (as PNG or JPEG) the image quality is terrible, I've created a graphic and the edges are blurry and just not up to standard. I've tried to download as a PDF, and use Acrobrat to convert the PDF to JPEG (I've selected MAX quality when doing that) but even doing that, the final downloaded JPEG has a 212KB file size (from a 6MB PDF) and is completely poor quality. What the hell is going on? I pay for these services and I can't download a decent quality edit!

This thread was first written in July 22 and now over a year later we still have no fix for this. So don't expect to much. I have the same problem. Right now it doesn't sound like a good idea to spend any more time with this logo maker..".

I'm also having the same issue. Every image even the PNGs which are supposedly uncompressed are blurry on export. Export to pdf and convert to PNG or JPEG is a ridiculous workaround and always seems to end up with a final image that is scaled differently so I have to resize, or the image is so small as to be unusable. This is core functionality that is far more important than adding new features. This clearly affects many users, so is there a timeline for a resolution. If it's not resolved soon I will have to move over to Canva.

I am having the same issue. Even older Adobe Express files that were crisp when I published them are now blurry. What is the deal. I'm a premium member and this is too time consumering and frustrating

Hello, @Christopher290528925cwy can you tell us more and share screenshots or videos.
Does it happen for each project or a specific one?

Everything is blurry on Express!!! I'll be canceling my subscription. Nothing I create can be used since it's ALL blurry.

I just downloaded adobe express for the first time on my iPad. Spent some time making my logo up to come across this same blurry image problem. I was really enjoying the app and was convinced enough to buy the premium version but after exporting my file and seeing the results and then this thread, I have now decided against that. Please fix this Adobe.

Same thing here. I keep creating QR codes and after downloading them (no matter what file type) and trying to import them into Ps, they are resized super small and blurry. No point in paying for premium anymore as Adobe doesn't seem to care about this obviously prevalent issue. They just keep asking for screenshots. Go try it out for yourself and you will see.

Yes, I am having the exact same problem. I use very high quality professional product photography plus vector graphic used as background. It's very simple and looks great. It look perfectly crystal clear unit I use Adobe Express and then when I download to PNG or JPG the result is blurry, fuzzy and unusable. What is the point of all the greate tools that Adobe Express offers if the results are so poor!?!

A year and a half later and there is no solution? I signed up for Adobe Premium only to have to go back to using other programs? Wasted so much time designing only to find that once I download my graphic its blurry 😞  Can't believe this

Same here!  I just created a flyer that I thought looked ok at home.  I downloaded but didn't look at the download, then posted to socials.  I checked them later, and was shocked!  Really emabrassing.  I mean, people don't expect that much from me, since I'm not a graphic designer (just do this for my band), but it was way better just using Photoshop, or even PicsArt!   Bummer, since the funcionality and design for what it is, is pretty decent.

Maybe I'm doing someting wrong, though, have to check.  But you'd think it would be streamlined for just this purpose.  Sigh...

Resizing it double helped a lot. It's still not perfect but it's a big improvement.

Hi

@default03t8nhxml1tb

,

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know the format of the asset you posted? Did you try other formats? Is it possible for you to share the screenshot of the image before and after?

Try to resize the page 2x or higher, then download it and let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

I am having the same issue. When I try to use images from my iPhone for the background images, they always come out pixelated. If I use stock images, I don't seem to have this issue. I want to share photos from our residents and they will be using their phones for photos, so wondering how to make this work. Also, I am unable to resize the photo. I would like it to be smaller to show more of the background. See attached for screenshot of image in Adobe Express. This is the most FRUSTRATING app i have ever worked with. One star for how beautiful the fliers and posters are to create and NEGATIVE 10 stars for being able to share it. I have spent the last 2 DAYS trying  every "solution" on this blog and my recipients are are saying they are BLURRY!  How utterly annoying. FIX THE BUG!!!
