Hello, I can't connect my Instagram account to Adobe Express.

I have the message "connection failed".

I confirm that I have previously linked the Instagram professional account with the Facebook account. And that I can connect Adobe Express with the Facebook page.

Thank you. I have been through the process since we started.
But in the meantime, I have activated the connection with two-factor authentication, in the Meta Business suite. Because apparently, when two-factor authentication is not enabled, there is restricted access to the features
I then restarted the link between INSTA and FACEBOOK, then finally I managed to connect from Adobe Express.

Hello Adobe team,

As mentioned above, Adobe Express is giving me a "connection failed" error message when attempting to link my Instagram account. I've tried every conceivable solution I've read on these forums and no solution. I have a business Instagram account as required, have tried removing the express from the business integration on facebook, then trying again, have unlinked the instagram and facebook accounts from one another, before relinking and trying again, have made a business acount in facebook as well for good measure before retrying, and have made brand new facebook and instagram acocunts and retried to troubleshoot that it was not an issue specific  to my accounts..

On an additional note: My first attempt was succesful, but linked to a wrong admin page associated with my facebook  account. After removing myself as an admin from that page on my facebook, I was never able to relink and got the associated error message. I thought this may be the cause of the issue, but as I've read here, this is a very prevelnt issue in the community which tells me it's an issue on the Adobe side..

I called adobe and the rep told me that  since I'm not a premium adobe express member, they can't escalate it to their next level department even though I am a paying photoshop and lightroom customer (ridiculous). They told me to come back here and post on the forum for a rep  to help within here.   If I can get some help resolving this issue, it would be greatly appreciated as it appears adobe customer service on the  phone said they wouldn't help further  past the basic troubleshooting that I've already done. Thank you in advance.

On an additional note, I just subriced to premium via the 30 day  free trial and the issue is still persistent.

Hi @haroldy_3261, thanks for reaching out.

Given the complexities you mentioned, here are a few additional suggestions that may help resolve the issue:

  • Clear all previous permissions: From both your Facebook Business Manager and Instagram account, remove any prior integrations with Adobe Express under settings (business integrations, permissions, or linked apps).
  • Re-attempt the linking process after clearing permissions and caches.
  • Try linking your account from a different browser or incognito mode to avoid potential cache issues.
  • Since you mentioned that your initial successful attempt linked to the wrong admin page, this might still be causing conflicts. Ensure that the wrong admin account has been completely unlinked from Facebook Business and Instagram, and that no previous linkage is interfering with the new connection.

I hope this helps resolve the problem! Let me know if you need more details on any of these steps. Thanks ^CA

Hello,
I followed the steps mentioned in the article.
But I have the error message after step 5, after having selected my facebook account.
I confirm that I have a professional Instagram account and that it is linked to my facebook account, as indicated in the procedure. So I don’t understand where the problem is.

I experienced the same issue.  I've successfully published to Instgram with the Scheduler previously.  I sought to connect a new account to Express through the Scheduler using the same method as I had before -- no luck.  I linked the new Facebook and Instrgram accounts as I had previously; the Instgram account is a professional/business account; Express will not connect and provides the same notice as the screen capture above. The article recommended here seems to be the same one that is offered in the Connection Failed notice (screen capture) and, unfortunately, isn't, by itself, resolving this.  For what it's worth, I have had luck connecting a new account by doing the following:

1) Open a Instagram Professional/Business account

2) Open a Facebook account

3) Link them from Instgram using the procedure demonstrated in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/UeCA3_Jl3GU?si=YClCtvO__uY6yhhh

4) Return to Express and then follow the steps listed in the recommended Adobe Help Article:  https://adobe.ly/3YmSyDs

I hope this helps get you closer to a resolution.  Best of luck.

I can't connect the Adobe Express scheduler to my Instagram Creator Account. I've tried everything in previous posts on this community, on Reddit, etc. I don't know what to say. I just need help. (lol)

Hello,

I switch my instagram account to a Bussiness Account. I still cannot see it when I'm trying to connect. I have two other Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts, but I stopped using them long time ago, because my main followers were on my personal account, which I turned into bussines, When I try to connect, my other accont appear, but not the one that I want. SHould I delete my other instagram accounts and pages so my main accounts appear? Thanks

Hi @gifted_sharpness5C4F. Sorry for any frustration caused. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot:

  • Verify Permissions: Make sure Adobe Express has full permission to access your Instagram and Facebook pages. This includes checking the settings in both platforms under "Business Integrations" for Facebook and "Account Settings" for Instagram.

  • Unlink and Relink: Sometimes unlinking the accounts, then relinking them through Adobe Express can refresh the connection. Be sure to do this through Facebook’s Business Manager.

  • Check Account Type: Ensure both accounts are set as Business Profiles. Creator accounts can sometimes cause compatibility issues with third-party schedulers.

  • Clear Browser Cache: If you're on the desktop, try clearing your browser's cache or using an incognito window.

Thanks,

Chaimaa

You don’t need to delete your other accounts. Instead, check that your main Instagram business account is linked to the correct Facebook Page you want to use. Go to **Instagram settings > Account > Linked Accounts** to make sure it’s linked to the right Facebook. Also, double-check that your Facebook and Instagram apps are updated, and try reconnecting. This should help your main account show up.
