Getting the best image quality starts by ensuring you have the correct project dimensions for your intended output. If you plan to print your project, for example, the default dimensions will likely need to be increased since most of the default templates included with Adobe Express are designed for web or online use.
How to check or change project dimensions?
If you have a premium membership, you can use the resize feature to check the current dimensions and enter larger dimensions if needed. If you don't have a premium membership, it isn't possible to change the dimensions of an existing project, but you can create a new custom-size project and enter custom dimensions.
What dimensions does Adobe Express support?
The maximum project dimensions supported in Adobe Express are 6000 x 6000 pixels at 72 dpi - this is about 20 by 20 inches for print at 300 dpi. Also, if you intend to print your project, it may be helpful to view your project at 100%. This will give you the best sense of how the final image will appear when printed.
Why does my project output appear different than when editing?
This generally occurs because the project dimensions are too low to accurately render on output. This can be especially evident when working with vector type content which is rasterized on output. Type and Shapes are some examples of vector based content within Adobe Express.
