Firefox is not currently supported, if that's the browser you are trying. If it's one of the supported browsers (Edge, Chrome or Safari) then try clearing cookies and cache to see if that solves the problem.

Why was Firefox compatibility discontinued with the new Adobe Express platform? Surely more people use Firefox than use Microsoft Edge, which is supported? This is a disappointing change that will change my entire workflow.

Right there with you, Express worked best on Firefox, in fact I downloaded it specifically for Express.

Hi, Try using Chrome, Safari, or Edge browser. If you're already on any of those and are still getting errors while accessing https://new.express.adobe.com/, try clearing the cache/cookies to check if that makes any difference. Also, ensure you use the official builts of the browser with enabled JavaScript.

Another couple of things to confim
- hardware acceleration is enabled. You can find resources on this via an internet search; here's one example: https://help.scoot.app/how-do-i-enable-my-browsers-hardware-acceleration
- Navigate to https://webglreport.com/?v=2 and confirm that it shows as green (✓ This browser supports WebGL 2)

- WebAssembly is supported: check https://wasm.joway.io/

Adeline31764563cl0k,

I'm following up on your comment (https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-bugs/cant-open-old-files-in-new-version-of-adobe-expres...) on this more relevant post. I realize that these steps are not meant to "fix" the unsupported browser issue, but help us diagnose what could be going wrong. Could you confirm that all of these checks are passing for you?

Used this with firefox and loved it. I can no longer use firefox. Tried on both chrome and edge and try uploading photos and they show up green. Not only that, trying to do any other work or edit and everything is just messed up. I may need to cancel subscription because this program is now totally useless

Sorry to hear that you are having issues. Thanks for trying various workarounds.

Which operating system are you on? Windows or Mac? Which version?

This seems like a rare bug. Can you share more?

@Brithany31799630v65e which browser(s) did you try? Could you please share a screenshot? Are you specifically seeing the "Unsupported browser" message other users on this post reported, or something else?

Thanks,

Seeing this message. It's interesting as I'm using Chrome (with the most recent update) and there are no extensions added, no incognito or VPNs either. It worked fine until last Thursday. Tried clearing cache & cookies to no avail.

Hi @Daniel31732386cy8v

Thanks for your response. Could you please try one more thing in Chrome

  • Navigate to new.express.adobe.com
  • Open the browser developer tools by using the following keyboard shortcuts
    • Mac: Cmd + Option + I
    • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I
  • Select the Console tab if its not already selected
  • Type BrowserSupport in the Filter bar
  • Refresh the page

Check if your logs look similar to mine:

Same issue for me as well and it was working fine until the new adobe express was launched.  I get the unsupported browser message on up to date Chrome (Version 116.0.5845.97). I also tried to access it via Microsoft Edge and I get the same unsupported browser error. Both accessed adobe express fine about 7/8 days ago

-Cleared Cache & Cookies, restarted computer

-Checked to see if Java was enabled (it is)

-Browser supports WebGl (has green check mark) and WebGL2 tab says "× This browser supports WebGL 2, but it is disabled or unavailable."

-Browser supports webassembly

-Hardware acceleration enabled

-I checked browser support under the developer tools on the new.express.adobe.com and I get:

[BrowserSupport] Wasm supported
23793.b5f4fd514b2f15aa9d44.js:1 [BrowserSupport] WebGL2 not supported
23793.b5f4fd514b2f15aa9d44.js:1 [BrowserSupport] Structured clone supported
23793.b5f4fd514b2f15aa9d44.js:1 [BrowserSupport] Not supported.

I also checked old tutorials for google chrome on how to enable WebGL2 by searching for it under chrome://flags and nothing comes up. I was only able to enable WebGL, but not specifically WebGL2.
