⚠️ Using Adobe Express on Beta platforms ⚠️

Adobe Employee ,
Jun 19, 2025 Jun 19, 2025

Hello, everyone!

We'd like to remind you that Adobe Express is not officially supported on any BETA versions of operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS, or Windows. For desktop users, the same applies to beta versions of web browsers.

Beta versions can be unstable, contain bugs, and change frequently, causing compatibility issues with apps and services.

What you need to know!

If you're using a beta OS and encounter issues while using the product, we recommend switching to the last official OS version to ensure the best performance and compatibility.

  • To opt out of iOS beta releases, follow: Settings > General > Software Update> Beta Updates > Turn it off.
  • To uninstall the iOS beta version and revert to the prior iOS on the device, refer toHow to uninstall iOS or iPadOS beta software
  • If you're using an Android device and want to opt out of Beta releases, refer to: Android Beta Program

Note: We only support Adobe Express on official OS & browser versions to ensure a smooth and consistent user experience.

HI when I bring photos over from a file on my mac they show up as gray squares.
I have to save the photo in my assets to use it. this never used to happen, i use a Mac, incognito and i knowit's a glitch because every once in awhile i get lucky and the photo shows up. SOOO frustrating and time consuming-can't easily switch photos when working on a project. I also don't want to create all these 'brand' folders to use one photo. It's new within the past few months. It's a glitch in the software, it can't be that everyone has a cache issue.

Hi @mpalys,

We are sorry for your difficulties. Please let us know which browser you are using.  Did you check with another browser to see if this helps? Is it possible for you to share the screen recording of the issue?

We're here to help, I need some info.

Thank you,

Neelam

Hi @Vivid-Competition

I tested on my iPhone using iOS 18.3.1 but wasn't able to recreate the issue. I wondered if it might be related to the beta version of iOS? Would it be possible to downgrade to a supported version and test if the issue persists? https://adobe.ly/4h1kC5t

Best,
Dave

Hi,

I’ve been running beta for months (even before using adobe) it was fine up until the last update which is believe adobe did yesterday. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my device, and hard reset it but still it does not want to play ball. Without completely resetting my phone, I cannot downgrade my iOS.

Kind regards
Jason

I am now also experiencing the same issue as of yesterday, March 1. I have tried all of the troubleshooting options, to no avail.

There is a bug in the iOS 18.4 beta that causes this, bug logged with Apple. In the meantime, you can workaround by un-installing the iOS beta

Is there another way?  Seems like a pain to have to uninstall the beta version.  Has this issue been reported to apple and adobe?

Uninstalling the beta software on my phone is bonkers. I'll just use Canva, thanks.

We have not found any workaround short of reverting to a backup of your phone/iPad prior to updating to the iOS beta release.  Apple is aware of the bug and is working on it. Using beta software unfortunately carries risks, such as this type of bug.

if you are running iOS 18.4 beta, it is due to a bug in the beta OS.  The only workaround is to uninstall the beta version of iOS by reverting to a backup made prior to installing the Apple iOS beta.  Apple is aware of the bug and is working on a fix.

I am having the same issue.  Ugh has anyone found a way to fix this without having to uninstall the beta version?  Seems like a pain.
