Accessibility Checker

Does Adobe Express have an accessibility checker within it? When I try to find information on this I don't receive a clear answer. It looks like add-ons can be used to help check but I was not sure if Adobe Express had one built in like Canva does. If add-ons are the only form of accessibility checkers, what ones would you recommend?

Also, I know Adobe Acrobat has an accessibility checker but I would love to use an accessibility checker within Adobe Express instead of downloading the project over and over to check it.

Adobe Express does not currently have the functionality to perform broad accessibility checks on your overall designs. There are however some add-ons that can help with specific aspects, e.g. Accessibility Checker, Color Blindness Simulator etc.

It would be nice to have some basic accessibility features built in!  Such as alt text.  This app would be much more useful if it helped us meet digital accessibility requirements.

Yes, please incorporate this feature!! Being able to now auto-tag when downloaded to PDF is helpful, but an embedded checker is really needed for the new guidelines. Add-ons are not an option for our higher education enterprise instance, so a native checker like in Acrobat would be very helpful. especially since Adobe has Color.adobe.com, please incorporate those features natively in Express. Currently many of our users (and we are an Adobe Creative Campus so we are heavy users) use Express more and more and are having to check on the back end of the creative process rather than the front end.

Agreed! The more these tools can be incorporated within the platform, the more useful this tool will be, so we don't have to go back and forth between our designs and the PDF checker in Acrobat.
