Cannot upload photos from Lightroom to Adobe Express

Participant ,

Dear all,

I've seen tutorials including the one Adobe posted (https://www.adobe.com/events/bootcamp/adobe-express/lightroom.htmlhave ) that they have a seamless connection between Adobe Express and Lightroom. I have been using Lightroom for all of my photo editing and went to one of the Adobe events where they introduced Adobe Express for content creators and I thought I would like to give it a go to improve my workflow when posting on social media. However, I couldn't find the three dots button that showed in all the tutorials when uploading photos from Lightroom to Adobe Express and I do have the full subscription. Does anyone know how I can get it there?

Thank you.

Karen

Hey @Karen JR

Not sure if you saw, there has been a recent update on Express.

Open a Project that you want to work on in Express.
With the project that is open go under Your Stuff.

Push the Right Arrow Key until you find Lightroom Photos.
Click on Lightroom Photos and you will see your LR photos.

Hey @Karen JR
They moved a few things around. In order to open the files that you want please follow the steps.
1) press the blue button
2) choose the custom size you want
3) Press Upload. There are a few options available. You may have to save the file you want to upload to a folder or somewhere that you have easy access to find/ upload.

Hi @Oh.N8

I know the option for uploading from the local disc but I was thinking how I can upload directly from my lightroom libraries so that I don't need to export and upload with these extra steps in Adobe Express. Since the Adobe tutorials showed the option to import the photos from Lightroom directly, I assumed there was this function but it wasn't showing on my interface.

But thanks for showing the detailed uploading steps.

Karen

@Karen JR
Of course, you are welcome. There are so many new updates in Express, Firefly, and the other Adobe Tools.

Cheers,
