Adobe Express is a no-code solution for creating web pages (among other projects and services). The content that is created is hosted on Adobe's servers, so you don't have access to edit the code. If you'd like to change how content appears in a web project, then you can create a brand to add your own logo, fonts, and colors as opposed to using one of the preset themes.
If you'd like to create your own web pages from scratch, then you could try Adobe Dreamweaver.
Of you'd like to do most of the design without coding but be able to modify the code, then you could build your content using InDesign and export it with in5, a plugin for InDesign that exports HTML5 files (and requires a paid subscription). You can use InDesign's Publish Online feature to upload the content to Adobe's servers, but like Adobe Express, you won't have access to the code in order to modify it without the plugin.

I don't think this reply answers the original question, which I also have. It is not related to coding. When students sign on to Express, there is the option to enter a "Class Code', presumably to join a classroom already formed by the teacher. How does one generate the class code for students to join?

Thank you -- that does help explain things. Too bad the Classroom Console is only available in the U.S. -- also explains why I couldn't find it! Thanks for clarifying.
