You'll want to create a project at the dimensions that you want you're poster to print. The maximum supported size is 20 inches by 20 inches at 300 dpi. This post might be helpful https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-discussions/how-to-get-the-best-image-quality-with-adob...

How do I know the file will render at 300dpi?
How do I send that file to an offset printer, do I export it, how?

You'll want to set the project dimensions to be whatever is needed (# of inches x 300) for both the height and width. It renders at whatever the project dimensions are. When printing you can specify the dpi to print at.
Adobe Express doesn't support saving in a format with color separations. You might need to check with the printer for whether the output options would work. The file formats that it saves in are PNG, JPG, and PDF.

Hey @Linda5FB4, It seems like you've used the new Bleed and Margin feature in Adobe Express for print. I'd like to inform you that if you go to Add-ons on the left side panel and search for 'Print', you'll find some third-party add-ons that might fulfill your requirements. (please refer to the screenshot)
If it still doesn't meet your requirements, I suggest you submit your feedback here:https://adobe.ly/4hFsJFq
directly to our product team. They might reach out to you for more info on this!

Hope this helps!

I'm having the same issue. The file dimension settings in Adobe Express are 5 x 7 inches (which would be the correct size at 300 dpi), yet it prints out at 72 dpi, and obviously much larger than 5 x 7. I'm having to take it into Photoshop to change the dpi.

A few questions to better understand the situation:
- Are you using a free or paid version of Adobe Express?
- Did you start from a 5x7 template?
If you're using the paid version, you have access to a Resize button in the top left corner, which you can use to resize images.
If you're using the free version, you need to select a custom-size project and enter the dimensions you want when you first start your design.
A 5x7 image at 300dpi is 1500 x 2100 in pixel dimensions
Please let me know if this helps,
Dave

I think I have the paid version, (with my Photoshop subscription maybe? - there's no prompt for me to upgrade and it says 'Premiere member' in the top tool bar), and there is the option to resize the image, but no option to change the dpi, and no indication of what the current dpi is that I can find. I started with a template for a 5 x 7 wedding invitation intended for print. I tried downloading and printing the file - I wanted to check the text size for readability, but it printed much larger than 5 x 7, so took it into Photoshop, where I found the dpi to be 72. I changed it, and printed it off at the correct size. So it's not an unsolvable problem, but it just seems strange not to be able to change the dpi in Adobe Express - unless I'm missing something.

Hi @Elizabeth5CFA
If you select the resize option it should show the current dimensions and resize the image to different one's if you want.

I don't want to resize, I want to change the dpi. It doesn't seem like that's possible in Express, so I'll just do it in Photoshop.
