Dear Adobe Team,
I'm writing to provide feedback on the recent changes on the new Adobe Express interface and its mobile app. While advancements are welcome, I believe the current changes hinder the user experience for basic tasks.
Specifically:
Adobe Express Interface:
Navigation and Usability: Previously, dropping in images and adjusting backgrounds was a straightforward process. Now, the interface seems more complex and requires more navigation steps. This has made it difficult and confusing to complete these simple actions on both the desktop and mobile versions.
Flyer Creation: The ability to create flyers, a core function of Adobe Express, has become less intuitive across all platforms. The previous workflow made flyer creation quick and easy, a key benefit for casual users.
Mobile App: The recent update to the Adobe Express mobile app has made it less user-friendly. Tasks that were previously simple now require more effort and may be confusing for existing users.
Overall Impression:
The recent update seem focused on a more advanced user experience. This approach sacrifices the user-friendly nature that made these applications valuable for casual users and beginners.
Recommendations:
Consider a return to the previous workflow for basic image editing tasks and flyer creation in Adobe Express.
If the new features are meant to stay, offer a user-selectable option within the interface that allows users to switch between the new and previous layouts. This would cater to users who prefer the simplicity of the older design, both on desktop and mobile.
Reevaluate the recent changes to the Adobe Express mobile app with a focus on maintaining its previous level of user-friendliness.
I believe a focus on user-friendliness will benefit both casual users who rely on Adobe's products for their simplicity and seasoned creators who can leverage the advanced features.
Thank you for taking my feedback into consideration.
Sincerely,
Joe
