fit template to image

Contributor ,

You can resize your template by entering width and height but is a dragging technique available? After you crop an image in the template, you don't know its size any more, and if its proportions are different than those of the template, you want to make the template fit your image.

How does one go about that? - and can one check the size of an image in AE?

Many thanks

Hi

@guy.cruls

,

Thanks for reaching out. Please let us know if you're looking for a freeform resizing option (dragging the corners of the template) or something more precise, like snapping to specific dimensions or proportions or something you want the resizing to maintain an aspect ratio, or should it allow for independent width and height adjustments?

Regards,

Tarun
