Hey Team!
I'm having issues with the quality of my Instagram carousels I make in Adobe express. If I post my direct high res photos once Instagram does it's magic the resolution is still there as you zoom in etc.
When I create carousels on Adobe express with the portrait post res and then export/upload they look 'fine' at surface level but very low res if you zoom at all (which lots of people do on insta).
Is there a better way to retain a high resolution export out of Adobe express to avoid this? Otherwise I'll have to switch to something else.
I export on my Google pixel 9 pro and upload to Instagram that way (as a guide)
Would love to know the workflow to rectify this.
Thanks!

Hi @jackc80362305,
Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about this. Is it happening with every image? Did you try using another browser to check if that helps?
Please try resizing the images you are using; doubling the size creates a higher resolution image.
Let us know if that helps.
Regards,
Tarun

I'm having the exact same issue with IG Portrait template in Adobe Express.
Perhaps it's an IG issue with carousel posts? My exported PNG files look great, even when zoomed in. When uploaded via the IG app the images initially look great while in the initial photo selection and editing phase, but when I hit "Next" to move on to the Post description, tagging, etc., all of my carousel images have lost tons of resolution. Text is pixellated, images are fuzzy, no good.
I don't have a solution to offer - just wanted to chime in with an upvote.

UPDATE: Saved as draft. Reopened the draft and the photos looked much better! Seems like it's an IG glitch, at least for me.
