My new ADOBE fonts (not CUSTOM fonts) not showing in Adobe Express.

Sep 24, 2023 Sep 24, 2023

I found four new fonts on the adobe fonts website, and I installed and enabled them. There is nothing else that I can do to ensure that I have them enabled and turned on (or whatever the terminology is). Whenever I look for the fonts in Premiere Pro, they are all there, so I can only assume that they're present for all the other apps as well, but when I look for them in Adobe Express, they are totallyt absent, which is very confusing to me. Why do my fonts show up in Premiere Pro but not Adobe Express? Keep in mind that these are NOT CUSTOM FONTS, but instead are fonts that I found on the ADOBE FONTS WEBSITE. Any help is much appreciated. The font shown is only one of the four I installed.

Hey @taylorgerac, I searched for KOSETSU font and was able to find it. However, it is a premium font. Can you please try once on incognito/private browsing mode to see if that makes a difference? Also, I just typed kose, and it appeared to me.

Let me know if it still doesn't appear for you.

Hi @Vivien36894852ayx6,

Manop is a variable font, and as of now variable fonts are not supported in the Adobe Express app. I'd suggest you to use any other non variable font.

Thanks,
Amitej

Adobe, this is completely ridiculous. You can't use an Adobe variable font within Adobe Express? But I also cannot upload my own original version of that font because Adobe tells me it's available within the Adobe fonts. Those are contradictory statements. So basically, I cannot  use the font at all. Issues like this is what is causing users like me to not actually use your product and use something like Canva instead. You are losing customers.

Hi @Ashley32567503s95y

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. What variable font are you attempting to use and encountering this issue?

Thanks,
Dave
